We are Varilux consultant optometrists and offer both budget and high-end Varifocal lenses, which are tailored to your individual needs
Corporate Eye Care
including DSE regulation testing whether arranged privately or through one of the national corporate eye care schemes
We have a friendly team of reception staff, and Adam is responsible for carrying out all eye examinations, contact lens checks and spectacle dispensing.
We primarily serve the Crediton area and the wider surrounding areas of Exeter.
When not working in Crediton, Adam works at the Retinal, Macular and Paediatric clinics at the West of England Eye Unit in the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
We stock a large variety of spectacle frames, from basic NHS glasses, to the latest fashion and designer styles.
If you would like a style of frame which we do not currently have in stock, please ask!

Crizal Privencia
For enhanced protection from UV and blue-violet light, we now offer Crizal Prevencia as an optional extra on all of our plastic lenses – the coating can be added to any new lenses from single-vision and bifocal to Varilux varifocals.
Transitions VII Iconic Green Available!
In addition to Transitions Grey, Transitions Brown and Transitions Xtractive, we are now able to provide lenses with Transitions VII Iconic Green! This is a great addition to the range and looks particularly good in a brown acetate frame. Please ask us in the practice for advice on suitable frames.
Reykjavik Eyes
We are proud to announce that we now stock Reykjavik Eyes frames. These are based on a strong, light titanium design, with either one-piece metal frames, or pin-hinge metal and plastic-fronted frames. Reykjavik Eyes are extremely comfortable and can be used with all lenses.
First Student Placement
Our first optometry student from Plymouth University has now completed a week’s placement in our practice. we look forward to having other students with us in the future!
